Synopsis

Based on a true story about about a man who was told for many years that he was not employable, but threw all of his effort into working as a door-to-door salesman. Despite the pain attributed to his cerebral palsy, he walked eight to ten miles a day to meet his customers and achieved the highest sales for his company.

Chouchou-san 蝶々さん (2011)

Synopsis

Like the opera, the story is set in Nagasaki in the early 1900s. It portrays the ups and downs of a young woman known as Butterfly (Miyazak), who lost her parents at a young age and has become an apprentice geisha. She later meets a naval officer and gets married, though the officer intends for the marriage to last only while he is stationed in Nagasaki.

Synopsis
Kana Aoyama (Yasuko Matsuyuki) is a 38 year old TV reporter for CTN. Kana is known for being stubborn & inflexible, but passionate for uncovering the truth. After doggedly pursuing an unsolved case for 15 years she is then assigned to lead a ragtag team of second line reporters.

Their first assignment is to cover seals who have reappeared in the Tama River. Kana, however, is interested in the Prime Minister who stood up the U.S. Secretary of State for a prearranged meeting. What did the Prime Minister do during his disappearance? Kana looks at the footage of the Prime Minister prior to his disappearance and once he reappeared in public. She notices something that no one else has. Kana then announces her team will focus on the Prime Minister's disappearance. This raises the scorn of her subordinates and her team is now viewed as nuisance by others...

Hammer Session! ハンマーセッション！ (2010)

Synopsis

Genius swindler Otowa No. 4 (Mokomichi Hayami) is finally arrested but escapes with Azabu No. 10 from a paddy wagon while being transported to the police station. The two men then hides at the nearby Hikari Gakuen High School. Hikari Gakuen principle Kenichi Mizuki (Fumiyo Kohinata) finds Owowa and offers him an unusual deal. The principle will harbor the fugitive if Otowa takes the identity of teacher Goro Hachisuka - a new teacher who graduated from Tokyo University. Otowa must now teach the most problematic students in lessons known as "hammer sessions". Every week a new trouble student appears and it is up to Goro Hachisuka to solve their problems.

Synopsis

It has been one and a half years since Aizawa Kosaku, Shiraishi Megumi, Hiyama Mihoko and Fujikawa Kazuo were assigned to Shoyo University’s North Hospital. They have only three months left of their fellowship programme (specialised training programme) to be flight doctors and each of them have come to the crossroads where they have to think of their lives after graduation. Aizawa, who has only one relative – a grandmother currently in a nursing home, starts having doubts about his duties and cannot find a clear direction for his future. Meanwhile, Shiraishi Megumi is unable to forget the past. She had caused their former teacher, Kuroda Shuji, to have his right arm amputated. Then Tachibana Keisuke, a veteran flight doctor, takes up a new post. He has been put in charge of certifying the fellowship programme which will decide their future.

Blizzard ブリザード (2011)

Synopsis

Yagira Yuya (20) and Kaho (19) are co-starring in a new mobile drama series titled “Blizzard.” This is BeeTV’s 38th series since launching in May 2009, but it is the service’s first suspense story.

As the title might suggest, the story is set on a snowy mountain. It focuses on a group of 9 university students who belong to the same mountain climbing club. When a heavy blizzard cuts them off from the rest of the world, one by one they begin falling victim to a string of mysterious murders.

Yonimo Kimyona Monogatari (世にも奇妙な物語 （よにもきみょうなものがたり）) is a semi-annual special televised by Fuji TV. Below are the articles for each year.

The series started in April 1990, showing at least two episodes each month. In January 1991, they started airing a new episode each week, with the series ending in December. Tempest テンペスト (2011)

Synopsis

The story takes place during the reign of the Ryukyu Kingdom (19th Century). Nakama plays Mazuru, a young woman who wants to complete her studies despite her gender restrictions, so she takes advantage of the disappearance of her step brother and disguises herself as an Eunuch named Son Neion, and passes the exam to be a royal govenrment's official. This is her first time having to play both a male and female character. Her supporting cast includes Tanihara Shosuke as her lover and Takaoka Saki as her enemy.

Synopsis

Toda and Miura play two teachers, Natsumi Uemura and Shuji Kashiwagi, at the same high school who are set to get married in half a year.
