Gokusen 3 ごくせん （第3期） (2008)

Synopsis

Sawatari Goro now works at Akado High School as a vice principal. Although the head director of the school board speficically orders him to handle the problematic class 3-D, the students are just too much for him. So Sawatari goes far away to a southern island to search for Yankumi, and convince her to work for Akado. Yankumi accepts the offer, only to find that her class (again) is full of punks, where two rival groups of students are always at each other's throats. Will Yankumi's strong belief in students and teaching work this time?

Gokusen 2 ごくせん （第2期） (2005)

Synopsis

Half a year has passed and Shirokin Gakuen has closed down. Yamaguchi Kumiko (Nakama Yukie) finds herself a teacher of a few young kids who don't really benefit much from her style of teaching. Through some twist of fate, she is offered a job as a teacher in Kurogin Gakuen.

She becomes the teacher of a delinquent 3D class which make her previous students look like angels. In order to protect her job, she must again hide her true identity — the fact that she is the 4th generation of the Oedo Family, a prominent yakuza group.

Gokusen ごくせん (第１期) (2002)

Synopsis

Newly graduate Yamaguchi Kumiko an idealistic teacher who entered Shirokin High to be a math teacher. Having high hopes for her students, her world turned up side down when she finds out that she'll be teaching the class 3-D the hardest class to take care of. Class 3-D is a bunch of students who looks more like delinquents and trouble makers. The students show no respect to teachers nor a little kindness. Each and every student doesn't like teacher for almost everyone has no good memories of them. The leader of the class is Sawada Shin. He is well respected for there are rumors that he beat a teacher to death. The students try there hardest to bully and make fun of her so she'll quit but all there efforts went to waste because Yamaguchi ain't an ordinary Teacher. Yamaguchi Kumiko is actually the 4th generation heir to Oedo group, a yakuza clan. Even though everyone in there clan wants her to the next leader, she made up her mind and so everyone accepted it. Eventually in the story, the students found out that she is different from other teacher and earned their respects. They called her Yankumi...

Genryou Boxer 減量ボクサー (2009)

Synopsis

KENCHI and NAOTO, both members of the popular group EXILE, are making there drama debut in a mobile phone series on BeeTV.

The two will co-star in "Genryo Boxer," a comedy about a pro boxer (KENCHI), whose unstoppable appetite has kept him out of the ring as he never passes the weigh-in, and a younger boxer (NAOTO) who lays "traps" of food for him.

Fukatsu Eri No Black Comedy -Burakome- 深津絵里のblack comedy ブラコメ (2006)

Synopsis

It's a short experimental series (20 episodes about 5-10 min each), which blends drama and animation. The main actress and narrator - Fukatsu Eri. It's a funny, though a little bit experimental show starring Fukatsu Eri (known from Koi no Chikara, Change, Akunin movie) - in every episode she portrays somebody else, narrates the animated parts and even sings the ending song. "Fukatsu Eri's Black Comedy" is a great watch for everybody, who like the more bitter kind of laughter; fans of wide talent of Eri Fukatsu, and anyone interested in more experimental kind of television drama, which provides different techniques of filming as well as animated episodes. 

Engine エンジン (2005)

Synopsis

Deru Toko Demasho! 出るトコ出ましょ！ (2007)

Synopsis

A comedy drama about handsome young lawyer Nonaka and his young paralegal assistant Shizuka. A wealthy girl gone broke, Shizuka gets a part-time position at a private lawyer's office to earn money for herself. Though she has no experience in the legal field, her boss Nonaka agrees to hire her with merely two requirements: Shizuka is to complete her high school education and she must wear the school uniform to the office every day. Deep Love アユの物語 (2004)

Synopsis

Ayu, a young prostitute has lived a meaningless life until she met a young boy named Yoshiyuki. Churasan ちゅらさん (2001)

Synopsis

The 64th NHK Asadora Renzoku Drama is Churasan, a story of a young woman, Kohagura Eri, who was born in Kohamajima Island, Okinawa on May 15, 1972, the day when Okinawa was returned to Japan from the U.S. Eleven years later, Kamimura Shizuko and her two sons, Kazuya and Fumiya, from Tokyo come to stay as the guests of a small inn run by Eri’s family. Chouchou-san 蝶々さん (2011)

Synopsis

Like the opera, the story is set in Nagasaki in the early 1900s. It portrays the ups and downs of a young woman known as Butterfly (Miyazak), who lost her parents at a young age and has become an apprentice geisha. She later meets a naval officer and gets married, though the officer intends for the marriage to last only while he is stationed in Nagasaki.

Tokyo Little Love Season 1 東京リトル・ラブ1 (2010)

Synopsis

In "Tokyo Little Love," Xia Yu Tong plays a Taiwanese woman who gradually falls in love with a Japanese police detective. Producer Tsugi Shikanai says that it will tell a love story that could happen to anyone, and that the episodes will feel more like a diary or blog than a typical television series. Xia Yu Tong, who has appeared in Taiwanese dramas before, will speak her lines mainly in Chinese (with Japanese subtitles), though she is also studying Japanese for the role.

Tokujo Kabachi!! 特上カバチ!! (2010)

Synopsis

The story centers around the employees of a legal document firm. Tamura Katsuhiro is a young man with a strong sense of justice. Although he believes that the law isn't always right, he becomes an administrative scrivener with the goal of manipulating the law in order to protect the weak. On the other hand, Sumiyoshi Misuzu, a former delinquent who hates to lose and who is now a capable scrivener. Katsuhiro and Misuzu are always at odds, but they gradually come to understand each other.

Ryoma Den 龍馬伝 (2010)

Synopsis

The 49th NHK Taiga drama is Ryoma den, set back in the Bakumatsu period. The story focuses on the life of Sakamoto Ryoma, who lived from 1835 to 1867. He was an important leader in the movement to overthrow the Tokugawa Bakufu, eventually bringing about the Meiji Restoration. He was also one of the founders of modern day Japanese navy through incorporation of western technology, which proved to be a force to be reckoned with during the revolution.
